Mr. LaVerne Brusky of Schuler passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010, at the age of 64 years. LaVerne’s memory will be held within the hearts of his family: Edna Brusky of Schuler and their daughters, Terry Brusky, Tina (Darren) Shearer and their children Rease (12) and Keana (9) all of Medicine Hat; uncle, Floyd (Amy) Brusky of Golden Prairie; mother-in-law, Emma Tetz (John); brother-in-law, Harold (Lorraine) Biittner of Edmonton; sisters-in-law, Bertha (Joe) Litowsky, Linda Andres and Rose (Gary) Tevel all of Medicine Hat; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins as well as close special friends, Brian and Ginny Schafer and their daughter Tamara (Mike) Selinger. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsie Brusky (nee Beck) in 1987 and Lawrence in 2008, as well as his special pet dog, Munchie. LaVerne farmed and ranched in Schuler his entire life. He always managed to make time to enjoy curling during the winter months and enjoyed numerous other sports as well. LaVerne’s life will be honoured without the proceedings of a formal funeral service. Family wish to extend their appreciation to special friends, Barry and Linda Mildenberger; the Schuler EMT’s as well as Cook Southland Funeral Chapel.
