Howard Bruce Biech, beloved husband of Donna, passed away at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Medicine Hat on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the age of 78 years. Along with Donna, left to cherish Howard’s memory are his granddaughters, Kaylee Biggart (John Terhorst) and Cassie Biggart; son-in-law, Clarence Biggart; sisters, Carol Lautermilch and Grace (Marvin) Poettker; sister-in-law, Norma (David) Cannon and brother-in-law, Terry (Lyn) Piche. He was predeceased by his parents, Otto and Frieda Biech; sister, Judy Priebe; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Reg) Gering, Velma Isbister and Laura Bear as well as brothers-in-law, Alvin Lautermilch and Robert (Marion) Andres. Howard’s favourite pastimes included watching TV and cuddling with his four-legged companion, Lucy. Howard’s life will be remembered without the proceedings of a formal service.

    It is with sadness that I’ve learned about Howard’s passing. He certainly fought a good fight. Now we have many great memories, yet he was too young.
    May God wrap the extended family in His peace and comfort.
