It is with heavy hearts that the family of Helen Darlene Klebaum announce her passing at St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Wilf Klebaum; her two children, Rodney Klebaum (Nancy) and Sheri Spratt (Dan Dillabough); grandchildren, Sarah (Stephen) Mullen, Adam (Marissa) Spratt, Matthew Klebaum, Kelly Klebaum, Joe (Meghan) Spratt and Kimberly (Zach) Johnson; eleven great-grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Finley, Grace, Beckett, Felix, Burke, Emmett, Abagail, Liam and Riley; her siblings, Tena, Don, Maria and Bob as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Cornelius and Sarah Froese, and her siblings, John, Anne, Henry and Fred. Helen was born on August 26, 1934, in Hague, Saskatchewan. She met her husband, Wilf and they were married on October 6, 1962. They enjoyed 61 lovely years of marriage together! Helen worked alongside Wilf in the hospitality business where they owned motels in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. When Helen wasn’t working, she enjoyed playing bingo with the girls, cooking, and cheering on her favourite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Helen always added a spark to life and had a twinkle in her eye that will never be forgotten! Helen will be silently remembered by her family and many friends. Memorial donations in Helen’s name may be made directly to St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice, 156 3 Street NE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.

Dear Wilf and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We enjoyed our time spent with Helen on the golf course and then at the mall on Fridays. She always gave us a giggle or two. May the good Lord take her by the hand and guide her to the every lasting light.
