Dempsey Sidloski (Jack Dempsey), born August 7, 1965, passed away suddenly while at home in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the age of 58 years. Jack is survived by his loving partner, Mary Mastel; three children, Jessica (Darren) and their two children, Ryley and Landon, Jest (Marilou) and their two children, Bergevin and Oakland and Katlin. He is also survived by his siblings, Bonnie (Ted), Connie, Kate, Lu-Anne, Kyle (Collette), Ann-Dee (Rod) and Eddy (Rose) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, step-father and brother, Paul. In addition to family, Jack had many friends who he also considered as family and was continuously expanding his social circle through his caring and generous nature. He was always willing to help someone however possible. Jack was passionate about the Roughriders and all fur babies. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, his life will be honoured and his memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal service. In his memory, please wear Roughrider green and share a story, hug or a laugh with a loved one. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the SPCA, 55 Southwest Drive S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8.
