It is with profound sadness that the family of Melissa Ann "Mel" Clarke announce her sudden passing in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the age of 38 years. Melissa is survived by her loving family: fiancé, Justin Ferguson; daughter, Paige Ferguson; son, Braxton Clarke; parents, Robert and Marie Clarke; sister, Chasity Clarke; two brothers, Dale Clarke, Charlie Clarke; niece, Karlie Clarke; nephew, Joey Beers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Bertha Clarke and maternal grandparents, Charles and Margaret Byrd. Melissa will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A time of visitation will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901-13th Street SW in Medicine Hat on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Terry Olson officiating.

I am lost for words Marie and Bobby, it seems like a dream, I am trying to get the courage to say I am so sorry to hear about Melissa, my godchild, I failed to be a godparent to a special niece, we spend to much time apart and the distance was even more, I hope you can forgive me for not being there for you with all my love we will meet again and I will not fail you this time, gone but not forgotten. ❤️🥰❤️🥰
