Our deepest condolences to all the Tonks family. My mom June used to be the hairdresser in Redcliff on Broadway. Our family remember Irene and Doug with great fondness. When she worked at the Kresges food counter many years ago,it was always a great pleasure to catch up with the news from Redcliff. A wonderful lady she was. Our thoughts and prayers to you all.

So very saddened to hear of Irene’s passing. Had heard she wasn’t doing well. So many fond memories of her and my mom puzzling at Chinook and their visits at Haven! Condolences to entire family from Mary Fischer, Lori, and Sheila!
My condolences to the Tonks family. Irene was my neighbor for 5 years. She showed me around the building and introduced me to new friends. She also showed me how to play shuffleboard as well as card games. She could have been a sister to me as we got along so well. She was always smiling and never seemed to complain about anything. I often visited her after she moved to another senior home. I miss her and think of her often. God bless you.
