Moving to Medicine Hat, she found her first job as a nurses’ aide at MacCharles Hospital. At 21, she married the love of her life, Edward Kessler. In 1958, she began her career of 31 years with Domglas and retired at the age of 57. Edward and Emily traveled all over North America in their trusty RV.
