In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still.
Vivian was born to the late Charlie and Laura Hunter at Gadsby, Alberta on August 26, 1926 and passed away peacefully at home in Medicine Hat on February 4, 2020.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Stelfox and son, Les Stelfox. Vivian is survived by Mark (Olaug) Stelfox of Bergen, Norway; Loretta (Ken) Herzog of Medicine Hat; daughter-in-law, Loraine Stelfox of Nanaimo, B.C. as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so starting one hour prior to the Service which will be held at the Cook Southland Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
The Service will be live streamed through Cook Southland's website. Those who cannot attend but wish to be a part of the service may choose to visit the Cook Southland Website on Monday, February 17, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Click on the Live Video Stream View Broadcast Button located in the center of the homepage just above the Families poem. VIVIAN'S DEAR FAMILY: My heart was saddened when news came re Vivian's passing. Your dear mom, grandma, great grandma is & will be greatly missed!! She was a very understanding/caring sister-in-law to me. I loved Vivian!! Thoughts/prayers are coming your way during "this time of our loss BUT heaven's gain!" . Our Heavenly Father is the greatest Comforter & will not fail us!! We can be so thankful that Vivian was faithfull to her Heavenly calling...this eases pain!! Now she has "Hung her Shield of Faith in victory!!" Hoping that you as a family, will find strength & comfort as you know that we are s h a r i n g b e c a u s e we are c a r i n g!! Love ya all!!

I know that we and our parents (Vivian's brother, Stanley Hunter and his wife, Ann) appreciated it very much when Vivian & Joe and their family came to visit them over the years.
