Mr. Reuben Harvey Dewalt, beloved husband of Ethel, passed away peacefully at Masterpiece Southlands in Medicine Hat on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at the age of 83 years. Along with Ethel, Reuben leaves to cherish his memory: three children, Ron (Lee), Darryl (Joy-Anne) and Cathie (Allan); three step-children, Kevin, Todd (Sherry) and Tracy (Chris); twenty-four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren as well as numerous other extended family members. Reuben was predeceased by his first wife Mary in 1993, four siblings and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Victory Lutheran Church, 2793 Southview Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, October 11, 2019, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. A Celebration of Reuben’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jim Bredeson officiating and Private Interment to follow at Prairie View Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Reuben may be made to HALO, 12 - 49 Viscount Avenue S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5G4.
