He was a true prairie boy at heart.

Dennis had a love for tinkering; a passion for people; found joy in the simple things in life and was a jokester at heart. He loved his family more than words could say.

Dennis had many talents and would be rightly characterized as a true “handyman”. He worked for over 40 years in a profession that he loved. He started with Otis Elevator as an Elevator Technician. He then went on to open his own business – Delainey Elevator Service Inc.

We will be hosting a celebration of life at Windsor Chapel – 704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon Sask. on Saturday October 5th at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the St. Joseph’s Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

We were so sorry to hear that Dennis passed away. He was quite the character. Always a smile or a joking attitude. It was an honour to know him. Our sympathies.

DAD::: I know this time would come and I am typing this because I'll probably freeze up not able to talk. Well i appreciate all who came ,dads family and friends to celebrate his life journey. Just a few things about my dad I'd like to say ,he was always a good father teaching us all necessities of life, from his younger days like all the cars he had fixing to running the lawn mower on water, which h didnt end up working. not all the best choices like opening the radiator cap to the Cadillac and getting scalded by the hot steam.even in all his things I looked up to him, he was there to help anyone.i never told him enough how much i love and appreciate him.he was a grandparent to yzabel and gavin and even not knowing them for long yzabel was like where's grandpa I miss him made me cry.now I pray he knows .always loved and will be in my heart forever, now dad you are in a better place with your mom and dad .and all of our fathers lord jesus .may you be happy .

Dennis was a wonderful guy. He did love his jokes and pranks. We all had our beds short-sheeted at least once!
We will miss him so much.
