I well remember the kindness that was shown to me and my children from Walter and Gladys. May the knowledge that you will be reunited with them comfort your hearts and souls.
Condolences to your family for your loss. Gladys was always a kind and gentle woman with a warm smile. Thinking of you.
Sincere condolences to you and your family.
It was my pleasure to get to know Gladys starting over two years ago as I visited her weekly. She always had a beautiful smile and hug for me when I visited. When we sang together it brought such joy to her I could tell through all we did and spoke of together that she loved her Lord so dearly. I will have fond memories of our walks and the times we picked apples overhanging the fences and eating them together. She loved being outside and again her smiles were so delightful. I celebrate with you her family the new life she looked forward to, being in heaven with her Father and Lord. Blessings Louise
Our sincere condolences to you all. God Bless.
Dear Strom Family,
It was with sadness I read of Gladys' passing. And as I read your names in her obituary, I smiled as I remembered having interacted with each of you in some way during the years we lived in the Taber and Grassy Lake areas.
Regardless of age, the loss of a parent is always significant and keenly felt. I pray that our God of Comfort will be that to you as you grieve your mother's absence. C.S. Lewis describes it this way -- "Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything." May our God fill that absence for you.
With warm remembrances of a lovely, gracious, godly lady, prayers, and love,
Joanne Penner Herron
