Grant Ernest Vanstone passed away peacefully on August 23, 2019, in Medicine Hat, Alberta at the age of 64 years. He was born in Oyen, Alberta to Ross and Flora Vanstone, on May 11, 1955. Grant had an amazing sense of adventure and a love of any and all things sport. Never content to sit on the sidelines, always an active participant whether he was skydiving, motocross racing or playing a sport (what sport would never matter as it was more a love of competition) or working at his job of over 15 years in the safety industry for the oil field, the better part of those years for Safety Boss. He had a great zest for life, rarely sitting around unless it was to enjoy yet another “good book”. Grant leaves behind many brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, co-workers, neighbors and in-laws but he will be missed beyond measure by his daughter, Tory and his five grandchildren. Sweet dreams Dad.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Grant for 5 years and learned so much from him. He was such an amazing and knowledgeable man. Grant will be truly missed by me and many more. Rest in piece Grant.
I share in your sadness as we remember Grant and the way he brought happiness to our lives. He will always be remembered.
