With family by her side, Delores Renee-Lee Blake, beloved wife of Dan Pudwell, passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the age of 51 years. Along with Dan, Delores leaves to cherish her memory: son, Tim Blake and his children, McKenzie Blake and Tiffany Blackwood; daughter, Crystal Blake (Alex) and her children, Laetia and Micaiah McLaughlin. Delores’ memory will also live on in the hearts of her brother, Doug Blake; special care giver, Christina as well as her extended family at the Medicine Hat Superstore. She was predeceased by her parents, Tim and Barb Hancock; son, Taylor Pudwell and good friend, Melvin Schwab. Delores loved her family dearly and her grandkids meant the world to her. Through her selfless, caring personality, she touched the lives of all those privileged to have known her. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at Victory Lutheran Church, 2793 Southview Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Delores may be made to the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic (donations payable to the Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation) 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6 or to the St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice, 156 - 3 Street N.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5M1.

    So sad to hear. I met this wonderful woman in Slave Lake, many years ago. Glad that she met a wonderful man who stood by her through all of her struggles. A kind and loving woman she was. Going to miss her smile and her strength such a huge loss.
