Lorna Peters of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the age of 42 years. Lorna was born on October 18, 1961 in Eatonia, Saskatchewan. She was raised in small Saskatchewan towns. Growing up she was a beautiful girl with a heart of gold. During her adult life Lorna faced many obstacles and managed to maintain her giving nature and kind, friendly heart. Those who knew Lorna were aware of her love for eagles and she is now free to soar with them! Lorna will be remembered by her children, Shane and Ashley, her mother, Lillian Pincombe and her father Sam (Iris) Helfrich; two brothers, Dan Helfrich and Dwayne Helfrich as well as grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by a son in infancy, Darren Dickinson. Relatives and friends are invited to share time with family to reflect on Lorna's life at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13th Street S.W. Medicine Hat on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. A Private Family Interment will take place at the Brooks Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Lorna's name may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
