Mr. George Brian Young passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at the age of 61 years. George was born in Moose Jaw, SK., on November 22, 1948. He lived and farmed in the Parkbeg area for a number of years until going to work in the oil patch. George is predeceased by his father, Harvey Young (1978); mother, Edith Young (1997) and a brother, Randy Young (1994). He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Darcy Young of Regina, SK.; sister, Bev (Ralph) Austin of Moose Jaw, SK. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A time of visitation and remembrance was held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, February 5, 2010, between 5:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. Cremation followed the time of remembrance and interment may follow at a later date.
