Obituary - Leonard-T Brekko

Mr. Leonard Treslan Brekko, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elaine Brekko, passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat at Masterpiece River Ridge on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at the age of 91 years. Left to cherish his memory is one sister, Sylvia Brekko and one brother, Norman (Alma) Brekko, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Nils and Hilda Brekko as well as one brother and sister-in-law, Herman (Olga) Brekko. Cremation services have taken place. A Graveside Celebration honouring Leonard’s life will be held at the Lance Valley Cemetery, near Beechy, SK. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Leonard may be directed to the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic, 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, AB., T1A 4H6.
